Poverty isn’t a crime but can lead to crime. It’s a curse and a choice.

Central texts and witnesses
Hannah (The gracious, the merciful, the one who gives): 1 Sam 2:1-10

Job: Job 12:6-10, 13-25

Asaph: Psalm 75:6-10

The spirit of prophecy makes you know the future in the present, as Hannah prophesied about a king to come. (1 Sam 2:10)

Promotion comes only from the North because that’s Gods residence (Psalm 75:6)

These three scriptures seem to point to God as the culprit of the widening gap between the rich and the poor but there is a larger scope. Let’s search other scriptures and history.

In the beginning Gods aim was to give man and woman abundance (Gen 1:26-28) not redundancy. Inequality started after the fall of man, as one would begin to rule over the other. The tree of the knowledge of god and evil represents tithe. Gen 3:16

If Jesus came to pay fully for the fall of man why is there still a gap, especially in the church?
The inequality continued to their children, Cain and Abel. God had respect for Abel and his offering. Cain was displeased forgetting that there are set rules and principles, if he operated in them he will get the same result.

A vagabond is unstable and doesn’t finish anything he starts. If Cain being a vagabond still built cities how much you who has faith in Christ. It’s time to make up your mind on which side of the divide you are on.

There is no true peace without forgiveness.

If we indeed build the fellowship of His presence, God is able to adjust everyone’s character, just like all animals were in the ark and none were consumed because of the weight of Gods glory. If grace enabled Noah, we have greater grace.
2 Cor. 9:6-8, what you sow is your choice. If you are not always having you know the side you belong to.

Gen 9:1-2. Greater inequality started when Noah planted a vineyard, drank the produce, got drunk, Gen 9:18, awoke from his drunkenness, and cursed his son, Ham. Gen 9:22-28. From the three sons of Noah everyone on earth where produced. Gen 10:1, 31-32. The curse made one part of the family blessed and another cursed. Each of us by the choices we make in life determine on what side of the divide we live, it was Hams choice to mock his father and the choice of the other two to cover his nakedness.

What started in Adam was terminated in Noah, a new beginning began, a new opportunity until the law of sowing and reaping which is dependent on our choice(s).
Is 51:1-3

The curse on Ham which caused the inequality stayed for 350 years until Abram was called. What happened in the garden happened again, Sarah offered her maid servant to “help” God, as Adam listen to Eve, Abraham listened to Sarah. The gap wasn’t really noticed until it was recorded that Isaac and Ishmael came to bury Abraham, Isaac took the first place.
The gap between Jacob and Esau is a result of the blessings they received.

Only the mediator built the bridge.

Shift ground and come to the side of the Lord!
