Lessons from The Life of Isaac

No matter what we are going through God has a plan to bring us out. Famine isn’t only scarcity of food but necessities, quality living.

There is the spiritual and material/physical dimension to overcoming famine. Sometimes the spiritual dimension (scarcity of the word of God) could be very severe because the Word is able to solve every problem on the material plain. If you have material abundance in spiritual scarcity your possessions could be endangered. The lack of spiritual supply is a produce of bad choices and attitudes.

The ability to hear God is of utmost importance in the spiritual dimension of overcoming lack. Hearing God is the proof of being his child. Deut. 28:1-2. John 10:1-4. The goat is wise and the sheep foolish but in the kingdom God wants us to be like the sheep dependent on his voice. The access code is the ability to the ability to hear Gods voice. John 10:7, 27 when men of God speak over us they are bringing us supernatural enabling to stare up things within us. Amos 8 When we study the word of God it gives the word the ability to speak to us. Gods’ voice is located by waiting on Him. It’s important to hear His voice (knowledge) but most importantly obeying His voice (wisdom). Luke 16:5-8. Our seeming stupidity will lead to green pastures.
