The Three Dimensions of Man’s Existence
I have lived in three dimensions. First, I lived in the mind of God (before time began). Second, I lived in my mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). God told Jeremiah: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you…” (Jeremiah 1:5). Third, I am living in my present existence on Earth.
The first place we lived in was in the mind of God. He is mindful of us! (Psalm 115:12; 8:4). We should be conscious of this. I imagine that when I was in His mind, He had certain things He would like to accomplish before releasing and forming me in my mother’s womb.
Before man was formed out of the dust of the Earth, man existed in the spirit. When God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth,” the Bible says God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion…” Yet, He had not formed them. Where were they? Was God speaking into the atmosphere? This shows that you existed in God’s mind before you came into manifestation. You came into manifestation at a point in time.
Israel as a Prototype of Man’s Three Major Domains
If you existed in God’s mind before you came into manifestation, there are certain things He had at the back of His mind. Therefore, you must refuse to settle for nothing less than the best. You must determine to maximise everything God had at the back of His mind before He shot you like an arrow into the Earth. You must determine to fulfil your destiny. God says, “…Israel is my son, my firstborn” (Exodus 4:22). He did not say Israel is my only child. Israel, as a nation, began its journey in Egypt.
